fits like a slipper
great product. the colour is sort of really light cream which goes with the goldie lace loops. sizing is perfect. if you're size 5, get 5. loved them so much, i ordered the black pair as well.

Instep in wrong location
I purchased this product at the sale price of £24.99. Upon opening the package, the visual appearance did not disappoint - this is a very stylish and appealing pair of training shoes.

I noted that the sole may not be all that hardwearing though - it is quite hard to describe, but it is effectively a 'figure of eight' rubber sole, and although I guess the theory is that the leather part mid-shoe will not be in contact with the ground, I have my reservations and I think this would result in wear and tear to the shoe in practice. For the sake of £25, I was happy to overlook that.

When I put the shoe on and tried to walk in them, a couple of major problems with the shoe became apparent.

I am a standard UK size 6, and with an average arch to my feet in the normal location you would expect an arch to be located ...

However, these training shoes have been designed with the instep in the wrong position. I have never come across this issue in ANY other shoe I have tried on, let alone training shoe, and it proved extremely uncomfortable - like walking on two lumps - I think that I have now felt what it must be like to be flat-footed and wear an instep shoe.

Secondly, the sole of the shoe is quite inflexible, so as I walked, the back of the shoe moved up and down a lot against my heel.

I asked a friend, also a size 6, to try them on, and she reached the same conclusions that I did - namely that these shoes would result in very sore feet were I to keep them!

So, they're going back to amazon. Very disappointing as based on the appearance alone I would have liked to have kept them.

This product is, as you would expect from Puma, a well made trainer using top quality leather. It is nice that you can get the trainer in half sizes too. Very comfortable and at a very good price from Amazon.
