Customer Reviews

Lindam Microwave Steriliser Bags5
An excellent product. They are great for holidays, incredibly easy to use, very quick (3 minutes in the microwave!) and more importantly take up very little room in the suitcase! Highly recommended!
First holiday abroad we didn't take anything for sterilising the bottles and used the 'boiling in a pan' sterilising method but due to the high concentration of minerals in the bottled water it left a horrible chalky residue on everything. As a result I ended up breastfeeding despite painstaking efforts two weeks earlier to wean my daughter onto a bottle for some of her feeds!
Second holiday we took these bags and they were great!

Very disappointing!!1
These bags are a really awkward shape - I have the Avent bottles and you can only get one bottle in it at any one time. The opening is so tight that you end up touching everything whilst you are trying to get them out which defeats the whole purpose of sterilising! The bags are resealable as they are supposed to be capable of re-use up to 20 times. I found it tricky to reseal it, and I have used one bag for about 8 times now and doubt it will last much longer. Lastly, it says that the bag only needs to be microwaved for 3 minutes but the small print recommends you then leave the bag for another 10 minutes because it gets so hot. I will finish using them because I have paid for them now, but I really wouldn't buy this product again.

Why change something if it isn't broken in the first place?2
I used these Lindam microwave steriliser bags for my daughter and could fit 2 9oz avent bottles + teats & bits very well - no complaints at all. But for some reason, they've changed the design?? Why?? Now they are smaller and can only fit 1 bottle in or squeeze the other one in and on top of that, the sealing bit at the top is no where near as good as it used to be. Furthermore, as it suggests on the box to wait 10 minutes, I don't as I have a small microwave and this is the only means of sterilisation that I use, therefore, drain the water, get that bag open and you are not waiting long to use it again. But remember, steam is hotter than 100 degrees! Yes they've ruined the design abit (Toys R Us use the old design and would recommend them over Lindam) however, as a travel product I can't fault it. It flat packs, brilliant for storing, and if you use it on your holidays, 1 week / 2 weeks out of a year is hardly something to complain about. I use them everyday!!!
