Product Description

When Ed Baines joined the judge's panel on ITV's 'Britain's Best Dish', he dived head first into the world of true British cooking. Hundreds of people presented him with their take on the best food this country has to offer. With his new book, Ed brings his take on the most iconic of those dishes to your kitchen. From traditional homemade pies (pastry and all!) and a delicious array of puddings, to contemporary dishes that show Britain's ethnic diversity (a Friday night curry anyone?), follow Ed's advice and you'll never have to grab a ready meal again...

ditch the ready meals and invest in this instead5
Best contemporary British cook book I've seen. The recipes are clear and simple and I love the diversity of including curries, Chinese, and Jamaican dishes in with more traditional British favourites. As Ed says in the book, ready made meals are a poor imitation of these recipes and once you make them yourself, you'll never go back.

Have just bought this book again for a friend !

Highly Reccomended!5
This book really reflects the broad talent in cooking Ed Baines has. Best of British covers all modern dishes and really delivers the message that nothing is better than home cooked food. The photography is beautiful and quintessentially British, I love cook books - this book is not only full of fantastic recipes but it looks beautiful on my Kitchen shelf!

EXCELLENT!!5
