Customer Reviews

Ideal for Sony Handycam5
Sony Handycams come with a piece of software(and drivers) which allow you to download video to your PC. This works far better when you use Sony's ILink (their version of Firewire), because it gives you full control of your camera from your laptop computer. The USB interface is very limited.

Problem is that your laptop probably hasn't got a Firewire interface, so this little card solves the problem (as long as you've got an ExpressCard slot. Good price and installs (plug and play) without fuss but suggest you don't leave it plugged in at bootup (you may experience some screen resolution problems with Windows Vista).
