Product Description

Best Days showcases Amy’s extraordinary vocal talent, featuring classical works and orchestrated traditional folk songs as well as three brand new tracks, all highlighting Amy's exceptional voice. Stand out tracks include the haunting "Scarborough Fair", the exquisite vocal range of "Time To Say Goodbye" and the powerfully operatic "Io Le Canto Per Te". Other tracks include Amy's own unique take on classic tracks "Fields of Gold" and "I Can't Make You Love Me". Recorded over the summer, Amy worked with top producers Simon Franglen (Madonna; Quincy Jones; Celine Dion), Jon Cohen (who has worked with Vanessa-Mae and the OperaBabes and co-wrote "No Greater Gift" and "Friends For Life" on the album), Tolga Kashif (who has worked with Lesley Garrett and co-wrote "So Far Away" on the album) and leading orchestral producer, Jonathan Allen.

Angelic Debut5
This album is simply breathtaking. All 14 tracks hold something different but all as stunning as each other - from 'No Greater Gift' which has a light musical threatre sound, to 'Shenandoah' with its heartfelt orchestration and to the beautiful lyrics of 'So Far Away'. Amy really has silenced the critics who thought "she is only a soap star". There isn't one weak track on the album; Amy sings them all with such feeling, power, warmth and amazing ability. Well done Amy - hurry up with the next album! Buy it for yourself, and treat all your friends for Christmas!!

First Class5
An ex-soap actress with an outstanding voice. Every track is superb. It will be hard for Amy to exceed the quality of her first album. Superb looks and a voice to match.
If you are going to buy a class album, buy this one.

Musical Theatre Fan, USA5
This is a BEAUTIFUL album: Beautiful voice, beautiful songs, and BEAUTIFUL arrangements. Amy is incredibly fortunate to have been able to work with people who knew what they were doing in developing this amazing debut album. I heard her rendition of "Shenandoah" on "Elaine Paige on Sunday" and was immediately hooked. I went to her website and after hearing the sample songs had to order the album, and it has been playing nonstop since I received it. There isn't a weak song anywhere on the album, and Amy's voice and the arrangements generally surpass those of other classical crossover artists such as Sarah Brightman, Charlotte Church, and Katerhine Jenkins. Living in the U.S., I am probably going to order several more of these albums as Christmas gifts for friends who love music but who haven't had the opportunity to hear Amy. In the meantime, I am already impatiently awaiting the release of her next album.
