Probably not the best book to learn shorthand from
There were quite a few mistakes in this book - luckily these were very obvious so not a lot of damage done - and each section was all a bit crammed full of information with not a lot of explanation. Probably good as a help in revising but not really 'meaty' enough for someone wanting to start from the beginning.
Excellent
I purchased this book on the negative review of someone else who thought it was very good for 'revising' but not meaty enough for a beginner. That sold it to me!! It is definately very good for someone who is getting back into it after a few years lapse, but then again even a complete beginner would be ok, providing they really follow what it says and 'practise' and write everything many times. That is how we learn at the end of the day! So don't be put off if you are a beginner, it will just take longer to get into it! Once you do - there will be no stopping you!
Unfortunately there does not seem to be the very easy books around anymore, so if you want to learn it - this is probably as good as it gets! Price is excellent.
