The Siemens Gigaset SL78H is the additional handset and charger for the Siemens Gigaset SL785 cordless phone. In total the Gigaset SL785 can register up to 6 handsets so another 5 Gigaset SL78H handsets can be purchased.

Adding extra SL78H handsets to the Siemens Gigaset SL785 is great way of getting an extra phone in a room with no telephone line. As the handsets all pick up the signal wirelessly the only socket needed is a power one for the Siemens SL78H charger.

When connected each of the Siemens Gigaset SL78H handsets can answers calls and transfer between each other. To stop interruptions when a handset is on an external call no other handset can access the telephone line.

Also handsets can ring each other internally and even transfer a call answered to another handset if it is not for them.

When purchased the Siemens Gigaset SL785 actually has a Siemens Gigaset SL78H handset on it. Therefore the features of the Gigaset SL78H are exactly the same as the handset already in use.
