"Dragonfire" series book 3
Erik Sorensson, leader of the Pyr is lucky enough to experience the firestorm for the second time in his life when his deceased wife Louisa is reincarnated as Eileen Grosvenor. Meeting her in London, Erik is soon protecting Eileen from the Slayers; renegade Pyr who wish to destroy mankind. Unwittingly Eileen now has in her possession 99 dragons' teeth, and whilst she has them she is a target for the Slayers.

The third book in DC's dragon romance series is the most action packed in this series so far, and certainly the most heartbreaking as two major events occur which dramatically hamper the chances of the good guys winning the war. The romance between Eileen and Erik never flags, even amid some serious action packed scenes and their firestorm certainly adds an extra sizzle to the story line. I do raise an eyebrow though at the amount of times Erik and other dragons change shape and fight amongst the streets and above the skies of London yet no one ever appears to notice; but this is fantasy romance after all.

A brief snippet of "Winters Kiss"; the fourth in the "Dragonfire" series is available at the end of "Kiss of Fate". Due for publication in Nov 09, I very much look forward to reading Delaney's story; especially considering his actions in this book.
