bad quality plastic
The sound is great but the plastic linking the headphones broke in less than a month with no apparent reason, it had not been submitted to any ill treatment

Very pleased!
My son was set on these for Xmas to go with his new i-pod, I read the reviews and was fairly put off by some of the comments. However, he was adamant and I purchased them through an Amazon retailer (very fast delivery).
My son is delighted - they look great, feel comfortable and he is particularly pleased with the ajustable ear pieces - he can hang them round his neck and angle the ear pieces upwards to listen to his music.
I haven't noticed any noise leakage when they are over his ears. I can't comment about the quality of sound - does that really matter when you're playing 'Slipnot'?

A really great set of headphones
I bought these 'phones after my apple iPod headphones broke - partly on the recommendation of friends, but also because Skullcandy just generally have a great reputation. I'd heard some negative stuff - that they are quite fragile and break easily. But so far, i've had no problems - and i am a serial breaker of headphones: i wear them all the time, and don't exactly treat them gently, so the very fact that these could survive my treatment must be some kind of testimony to their durability!

Sound wise, they are good as well. I mostly listen to classical music, but i also listen to metal and rock music too - they are great headphones for metal music especially, but they sound great listening to classical music too. I would say they are pretty versatile.

I'm really impressed, but if i did have one slight problem, it would be that they put quite a lot of pressure on your ears - like i said, i wear headphones all the time, and after a few hours it can get a bit annoying. But, in my opinion this is a small price to pay for such great sound quality.
