Customer Reviews

mountain biking europe5
i would recommend this book to anyone planning a mountain bike road trip. whether abroad or in the uk. has excellent information regarding type of riding on offer at each destination and how to make the most of it. there is limited info on accomadation and places to eat. well written and presented, if you weren`t planning an mtb road trip before you read this, you will be afterwards!

Great plans a foot5
This book is going to be the basis of my next year off work. It is very interesting and laid out well to enable you to visit these places. Some of them I have already visited and the reviews are pretty spot on, others i will now go to and hope the comments are lived up to. Its great to know you can travel the world and visit all these beautiful spots whilst having fun and exercising.

Very useful guide to mtb in Europe4
If you want to mtb on the continent this book is the best place to start. It gives all the essential info for each country and associated mtb regions, with useful info on xc, freeride & downhill opportunities, transport/shuttle/up-lift options, accomm & restaurant info and climate. Although it doesn't list any specific trails it does provide all the info you need to select a suitable region and points you in the right direction for maps, guides etc. Don't expect a typical guide-book with detailed route descriptions, do expect an inspirational guide to some of the most spectacular mtb regions in Europe... most of which are just an EasyJet ride away (and they even take bikes!!!).
