Simple and small but well worth the money5
I bought this lamp to mount on my cycle helmet. The lamp is very small and light-weight, with a norrow but well defined beam and adjustable angle, therefore ideal for that purpose. The beam is much better than larger head torches I've tried. Uses 2016 lithium biutton cells which give a remarkable amount of light considering their size. Obviously duration is not as good as larger cells but still several hours. No bells and whistles eg flashing light, but a well made little lamp that I think should last well.

    Light-weight and bright5
I've seen head-lights like this in specialist sports stores, but most were very expensive. I wanted a head-light, not for night-time sports use, but to read in bed when in hotel bedrooms that usually don't have a good bedside reading light, but, instead have a bright over-head light that shines on my husband as he tries to fall asleep. I've tried clip-on book-lights but find they don't work very well: falling off as you turn the page and/or not illuminating the bottom of the page. However, this little head-light is great: very light-weight with excellent illumination of the page of my book, and, as it attached to my forehead, directs the light to where I'm looking. All this for a very low price compared with other models I've seen. I can see that it will also be very good for walking at night leaving your hands free.

    Shine a Light5
I bought one of these because I needed a head torch and I look daft in all the others I tried. This one is the smallest i,ve seen. It has proved to be the best I have used. It is very light very bright fully adjustable (angle of beam)and so easy to transport it could easily be lost. A good bright light which is easy to focus and follow and comfortable to wear.
I agree with the other reviewer on battery life. I haven,t timed mine yet but do get several hours per set (I use it quite a lot). Can,t praise it enough and bought one for my wife. I use it in the hills but have found it invaluable for all kinds of activities at night including breakdowns. My comparisons with other lights is based on what I use it for and how often. It does not have the length of beam some have and changing batteries in the dark is fiddly but I wouldn,t be without it.
