The Belkin HDMI 3-to-1 Switch allows you to connect to and switch among three high-definition, digital-video source devices through a single HDMI, or Digital Visual Interface (DVI) connection on your high-definition television or receiver. (Although there are only HDMI connections on this device, you can use the included HDMI Interface-to-DVI cable to connect and switch between DVI components.)

This convenient, compact switch offers an ideal way to connect digital displays such as HDTVs, plasma displays, DLP TVs, LCD TVs, and projectors. HDMI also provides an all-digital connection between such source devices as HDTVs, DVD players/recorders, digital cable/satellite boxes, and AV receivers. Simply select from among the devices either by pressing the input-selector button on the switch itself, or by using the included remote control to scroll to or directly select a source.

Necessity
I`ve needed one of these for a while because I have an HD box and HDMI DVD player but only have 1 HDMI socket, with the soon to be released PS3 I have on order I required this switcher to stop me unplugging the 3 items everytime I want to watch or play something else. The selector is smaller than I expected and if you like you can hang it on the wall, I myself sit it on top my dvd player.I have used it with the hd box and dvd player and have found no loss of signal whatsoever the remote is basic but does the job, I use my own logitech remote so have labelled the inputs correctly instead of the 1, 2 or 3 buttons. I would of liked to give this 4 stars as after buying an expensive hd tv you then need 1 of these at around £[...] to have more inputs, but this is not the switchers fault more the tv manufacturers. Oh yes it also comes with a hdmi lead so that is a bonus.

Works well with no fuss
There's not much you would really expect from a switch box like this: it should just switch between HDMI inputs without losing quality. That's what this box does. From opening the box to switching between inputs took me about five minutes, and most of that was spent moving the TV so that I could get behind it.
It comes with an HDMI cable to connect the box to your TV and batteries for the remote, so most users will have everything they need to get it installed and working straight away.
I have a Sky HD box and a PS3, and they both work fine, with no discernible loss of quality.
I'm giving this five stars because it's a solidly-built, no-frills bit of kit that works exactly like it's supposed to. I can't think of any reason to mark it down.

Cracking bit of kit.
Had this for 4 days now, hooked it up to my Sky HD box, Sony dvd/hard drive dvd recorder and Sony PS3 - works brilliantly. The picture from my Sky HD box is perfect, no drop in quality what so ever, same thing from my dvd recorder which also upsclaes to 1080p, this box works great. Really easy to change the input channel and this can quite easily handel 1080p high def. Well worth the price, cracking bit of kit !!!
