Beautiful
Sleek, amazingly compact and very fast - I've yet to find a fault with this little beauty. I'm no techie but it's totally painless to plug in, virtually foolproof to use, and I backed up the contents of two laptops and an old external drive in under an hour. Worth its weight in toffee apples!

Caution using WD Sync Software
I use it as a simple external drive and I am very pleased with it. I am no expert, but I have heard of people experiencing problems using the Sync Software. As the name suggests, this software deletes data on the Passport which has been deleted on the computer hard drive - hence it should not be used as backup software. Luckily I learned of this before my usual habit of diving in without fully understanding the features. So I have not installed the sync software.

This was an excellent unit fast quiet and small, but after 3 weeks it just stopped working, i returned it to amazon have been refunded and have ordered another one. Western digital have excellent after sales service as you can register you product online and any problems you have they are more than helpfull in helping, i had a desktop unit which had power problems and they sent me a new power supply within a week.
