Excellent tool for dyslexic child
This has helped my daughter, who is dyslexic with her spelling. There are 2 main functions that we have found useful:

1. The phonetic spelling functionality is first class,
2. The word list is a great way of building up a bank of words which have proved awkward and allows you to return to problem areas.

Thoroughly recommended.

Franklins Childrens Dictionary and Spellchecker
An excellent product. It helps 2 dyslexic children in my class (I'm a teacher) with their spellings and the thesaurus is really easy to use. My 6 year old daughter also loves the games part of it and is currently addicted to Hangman!

Dyslexic hope
Just don't drop it as the lcd screen can break - this is our second one. Great wee machine - helps to give confidence for those with dyslexia - hence reason for splashing out on another one as they are not cheap!!
