Superb reference from one of the leading herpetologists.5
Philippe De Vosjoli is widely regarded as one of the world's leading herpetologists.
The Leopard Gecko Manual should be every prospective leo keepers first stop before the pet store. It serves to give a great insight into this fascinating creature and inform newcomers to reptiles of some of the most important factors in creating a healthy environment for a Leopard Gecko.
This book is great as a reference for the more experienced keepers also, including chapters on breeding, rearing youngsters, gecko illnesses and more.
I recommend this publication wholeheartedly, it's had pride of place on my bookshelf for years.

Very discriptive5
very good bok, applied a bit more science than the other books i have checked out, (im still a prospective gecko owner), had a great deal on breeding and rearing, and a good section on diseases, which ive been told is not always included (in as much depth), it included a section on the similar species the african fat tailed gecko, has a summerised scientific paper at the end, good book and interestin read, i now feel that i have as much info on geckos as i need

Excellent introductory book on the subject4
Having inherited a Leopard Gecko from an unwilling owner, before it arrived I thought it best to find out how to look after it ! This book covers everything you need to know, as a first time owner, about these interesting little creatures. They are just about the easiest reptile to keep, and they have character, are attractive and can become very tame. This book definitely whets the appetite for further expansion and covers all the necessaries.

I have a few books on Leopard Geckos now (I believe in trying alterantive views to get all sides of the story), and this is the best (and cheap too).
