Manufacturer's Description
Mac mini is made from sleek, anodized aluminum with refined, rounded corners and a pearly white cover. But the power of its design is on the inside: the Intel Core 2 Duo processor, advanced graphics, and more, faster memory. And there's plenty of storage space - for just about anything. Who knew something so small could be so huge?

Mac convert
This is an excellent entry level machine for the Mac platform. Its small, quiet and quick. I`m a long time linux user, but I bought this so I could do some iPhone development. I have to say, this has become my primary machine for development now. Ontop of this, with a HDMI cable (and an adapter), this makes an excellent box for watching media on my HDTV, especially if you combine it with an iPhone/iPod Touch.
Well it works what more could you want
I don't have this exact model but I do have a Mac mini and I have found it to be a useful computer. First of all I was shocked how a tiny computer could work more or less the same as something 16X bigger than itself.
My main reason was to try out a new operating system which I am pleased to use and speaking of trying new operating systems I also try linux which I was dissatisfied with. Another reason would be I am fed up with windows Xp which I've been using over 7 years and although It's great for gaming it has a lot of downsides such as blue screen of death, easy target for viruses and slowness caused by installing too many programs.
The difference which Mac is that firstly even with lots of programs on your computer it won't slow it down. The appearance of the desktop has icons on the bottom of the screen mainly than on the screen although you do have the option to put icons on the screen but once you open the icon I will always display on the bottom of the screen because you close the application by right clicking on the icon and then clicking quit. Another difference would be That it doesn't get viruses which I think is something which I truly do not want to get as I usually involves recovering windows which I files are on my hard drive I lose them I since I have a large amount of midia for i-tunes I can't risk losing them.
mini marvelous
now i've sorted out overscan issues running this with my plasma display I am happier than a particularly happy person with this little gem.
one media server doing its thing. my only grip would be the ease of getting into the thing to upgrade memory and hard drives - you WILL scratch it doing so.
