Avoid if possible...........................
DM's - I used to wear them all the time, still do, technically.

Since 2003, all Dr Martens boots and footwear have been made outwith the UK in either China or Thailand - all pre 2003 shoes/boots were marked 'Made in England'.

In 2007 their Vintage line began production once again in England on a small scale, but that's all.

I now purchase Solovair boots, these are made by NPS Shoes Wellingborough, Northamptonshire where they used to make the AirWair suspension soles under licence.

They're hard to find but British made and worth it. Try William Lennon Co, about the cheapest you'll find them.

HAVE WORN THESE KIND OF BOOTS FOR YEARS,TAKES SOME TIME TO BREAK IN THOUGH AROUND THE ANKLE IS WHERE IT WILL PINCH. WIDE FITTING AND DURABLE WILL HAVE THESE FOR YEARS TO COME.
