Synopsis
Paris Hilton (HOUSE OF WAX) stars as the titular beauty in this romantic comedy. Nate (DODGEBALL's Joel David Moore) is an unlucky in love man who has adored the gorgeous Cristabel (Hilton) since he was a child. As an adult, Nate moves to Los Angeles in order to track down his life-long love. He succeeds in finding her but she refuses to leave the side of her less attractive friend, June (Christine Lakin, STEP BY STEP), until she finds a man. In order to win Cristabel's affections, Nate helps June embark on a life-changing makeover in order to get her dates. Some surprising results occur as Nate's friendship with June blossoms.
Former DAWSON'S CREEK writer Heidi Ferrer makes her feature film debut with the script to romantic comedy THE HOTTIE AND THE NOTTIE. The comedic aspects of her script combine well with the more serious message that she is trying to get across; that a person's inner beauty is much more important than superficial appearances.

The Nottie and the pappy-show!1
I watched this movie the other day just by curiosity because I heard Paris Hilton didn't get invited to the Oscars because of how bad her new film was. I literally got sick just watching parts of the movie. I mean she's OK when she's in a reality TV show because she just has to be herself. Being an actor you have to at least learn to play another type of person, than the person you are in real life. She has to start believing that her body can adjust to numerous different roles and characters than simply a megalomaniac, massive ego (probably the biggest I've ever seen), arrogant hot chick. But if she so desperately wants to be taken seriously as an actress, why doesn't she just try to play someone else than always that same person that everybody wants to be around and that all the guys dream of. You know, I think Paris Hilton is a beautiful woman, I always have. But in her movies, she reminds me of a girl so uggly in the inside, that she can't live a life without being beautiful on the outside. And the worst part of it is that's her true personality. She plays the same type of character in each one of her movies.

What is paris hilton famous for exactly getting drunk, sex videos, prison, and dressing like a hooker/ acting like one. im a 19 year old guy and shes well within the sphere of interest from 10 till like 20 year olds but if it meant death or even looking at her face to face id rather reinact hostel on myself.
The film is as bad as her by the way and it wil be amazing when she rots in her little corner. :)

Pleasant Romantic Comedy With A Boost For Paris Hilton Fans4
If you hate romantic comedies, this one won't change your mind. If you love or like them, then this one will provide at least average enjoyment along the way. If you're a Paris Hilton fan then this movie gains a definite boost, giving Paris a starring role and showing her off at her gorgeous best. The film has it's charm and likable leads. Arguably "The Nottie" of the piece has the better female role and Paris's "Hottie" tends to perform a more superficial role in the second half of the movie, but she's up to the material and the sweet charm of her character matches the real Paris that is known to fans and more informed onlookers. Jealous Paris haters tried to get this voted the worst movie ever on IMDB, but it's nothing of the kind. Just a feel good comedy that won't win any awards but will pass the time if you're into the genre. I watched it for Paris myself and she did not disappoint, looking great and having a few memorable scenes along the way. I hope the movie manages to do better on DVD than the undeserved bashing led to for it's limited cinema outing. Unfortunately, the UK release omits the cast commentary that is available on the region one version but there are other extras on the making and promotion of the movie.
