Absolute Drivel
Don't bother with this book, it's absolute drivel......cheaper to buy a copy
of the Sun.

The Poor Man`s Working Class Hero
The main theme of this book is a phoney persona and a fabricated working class life.
Gaunt is full of self-pity and wants us to feel sorry for his so-called hard upbringing and cheer his so-called rise to the top.
True he writes a column for the best newspaper in the world but he is no Richard Littlejohn, Kelvin McKenzie or Garry Bushell.
He also presents a show on Talksport but he is no James Whale, Nick Ferrari or Steve Allen...and his TV appearances are pure phone panto.
Gaunt is just a poor writer he got lucky and this book is not a genuine story of a working class hero.

GREAT BOOK, GREAT SHOW, TOP COLUMN!!
Gaunty is a great figure in today's society, having the balls to say exactly what the majority of people are thinking. He challenges things head on, that others wouldn't dare! He asks for simple things that we all want. The book is no different. A great insight to a great commentator of our times. Highly recommended.
