It's how much they play with it that counts!
My children already have a pixel chix house, which I managed to get for half price, and they loved that one, so when my youngest at 7 years put this one on her christmas list I thought about it. Then I saw the price of it and thought no way but my mum persuaded me that it was what she really wanted. She plays with it loads and manages to interact it with her other pixel chix things and the roomies work too. I don't like the look of it or the price but if children's contentment is what we pay for then I have great value for money here, after all it's how much they play with it that counts!

A complete waste of money!
Although it looked good and promised a lot it turned out to be a cheap-looking plastic toy that stopped working within a couple of hours of opening it on Christmas Day. To avoid disappointment - buy something else!

Pixel Chix Roomies
A much anticipated but vaguely dissapointing toy.
Unlike the previous reviews our toy did work (although there was a slight error on the top left screen which appears to have resolved itself).
The quality of this toy is not great, the sliding screen feels like it will not last. Seems quite pricey for what you get.
My daughter loves it though and has succesfully connected it with her other pixel chix house.
