Customer Reviews
Yes, its plastic, but its great fun!
I can see where the other reviewers are coming from, but I bought this in the amazon pre christmas sale for £9.99 (currently showing as £6.99) and its an absolute bargain. Yes, you have to build it, but it's not anymore difficult to build than any of the other toys you get like this. My two girls, 8 and 3, love this toy, and will happily play with this all day. Once its up, if you do knock or walk into it then it will give, so I have a really good solution to this.......don't knock or walk into it!! My girls seem pretty able not to destroy it, and if mine cane then so can yours. A brilliant toy for girls. You can also buy extra cars and dolls to go with this.
Not as bad as people say
My daughter got one of these for Christmas. I put it together, it was no more difficult than any other toy on Christmas Day. Believe me the Fisher Price Push chair was far more stressful. I reckon it took me 20 mins to do this. Like all Polly Pocket toys it is very fragile, if you move it, it will fall apart. Again this is no different to Bratz or Barbie toys. I would say it is a good buy for £15, but not £30. My daughter enjoys it, but she is 9. I think it is too old for a 4 or 5 year old. I hope this helps.
My kids love it
This is like a hot-wheels toy, but for girls. Both my kids love it (boy and girl) and have played with it for long periods. I don't think it is poor quality; it is made of plastic as you would expect. We did discover that the launcher needs to be placed on a hard surface to work correctly, but a book will suffice if you have particularly soft carpet. Overall it is a good toy and has certainly entertained my two kids.
