Mildly disappointing
My 5 year old daughter received this toy from grandparents for Christmas this year, on my recommendation, as she loves anything to do with art and drawing. The pictures of this product suggest a strong beam of light that comes down onto the table (which is quite small); in fact the beam is fairly weak, and the projection of pictures from the small plastic discs is underwhelming, and certainly doesn't fill the whole 'table'. Choice of pictures isn't that imaginative either. Lighting up the desk from beneath is also weak - in fact we only realised it was on when we turned the lights off!
Having said all this, my other 7 year old daughter is enjoying the toy more, and has better pencil control to manage tracing the small images. Perhaps more suited to an older child (even though Crayola recommend from 4 years.)
