A good early Thomas book - highly recommended
This book soon became a favourite with our 20 month old son who is very into books and currently especially Thomas books. He would ask for 'Bertie' since this is about how Bertie the bus challenges Thomas to a race.

Although he enjoyed the sound button, and this did not last many days of rough toddler attention, there is plenty of opportunity in the text for making your own noises.

I think that this is a very enjoyable book, especially for the younger readers, they will love constantley pushing the buttons on every page, creating amazing sounds and following the great storyline.

A good fun book
This Thomas book is worth the money. Press the button to hear a 'choo choo' sound which lasts for a few seconds. Colourful book with sturdy pages. The sound button is reasonably loud without being too annoying.
