Good, but could be better.
This toy has a lot of positives. It is cheap for a piece of television merchandise, it comes with a full set of characters, it is true to the TV show, there is a lot of attention to detail, there are loads of accessories, it encourages imaginative play, and it doesn't take up loads of space.
However, there are a number of negatives that let it down. It is extremely flimsy, a simple tap from a child can knock the whole thing down sending pieces everywhere. The characters are difficult for small children to sit on the chairs, especially the almost spherical Daddy Pig! Some of the pieces are delicate and easy to break. The fold-away case is extremely thin and difficult to pack away with all of the pieces in.
That being said my two and a half year old absolutely adores it, plays with it every day and it has encouraged him to develop his imaginative play. When he does knock it all over he sings 'Bob the Builder' and starts to put it back together.

a total let down from an adult point of view
This was bought for my 18 month old daughter as she loves Peppa Pig - it states on the box that it is suitable from 18 months plus, which i would agree with. However, the house is very small and flimsy and falls down all the time - you need to prop the house up against a wall, the accessories that come with the house are sweet and exactly like they are from the programme. However only Peppa and George can fit in the bath, and I also find that Mummy and Daddy pig can't fit on the chairs provided without them toppling over! My daughter does not seem to mind any of this, she loves the figures and the house anyway, i just think for the money it could have been built better. Very disappointing.

Fantastic value for money - But difficult to pack up


My daughter is almost 3 years old and she just loves Peppa Pig. When she got this house she was ever so delighted - and she still plays with it every day!

The bits are a bit fiddly (stairs don't connect to the house, ladder does not connect properly to the bed) and this can cause the odd frustration tantrum, but all in all the house with all the figures and furniture will keep her occupied in role-play for hours, literally!

The figures are quite small and it is true, that the furniture don't actually find a place in that house, but my daughter uses the house more as a background, and plays with the figures separately.

Unfortunately you can't pack everything into the house and carry it away - the big stairs will not fit in, even though I managed to fit everything else in, even Daddy Pig :-)

All in all this house is excellent value for money and I am actually thinking of buying a 2nd one just in case bits and pieces were lost or damaged, as my daughter would be heart-broken.
