Product Description

Build the heart of the Ancient Roman Empire and become the Emperor! Welcome to the birth of the Roman Empire where players re-create the legendary city of old using a unique variation of the much-loved Match-3 puzzle mechanic. Gather resources (wood, tools, gold, etc) by matching rows of 3 or more and obtain as many as you can before the time runs out. The more you gather, the faster you can build the city. Start with a lowly saw mill and progress to gain access to historical monuments such as the Arch of Titus, the Temples of Venus and Saturn and eventually the mighty Coliseum. A vast array of bonus tools adds even more incentive to continue the game for as long as possible. Unlocking these tools not only makes clearing the board easier, but also increases the opportunity to gather more resources, gold, and treasure!

  • 100 mind-bending levels
  • 20 historical sites from five eras to build
  • Combine secret bonus tools to achieve your goals faster
  • Multiple gameplay modes for various degrees of difficulty
  • Players set the pace of the game through building, unlocking and "Relax Mode"

Customer Reviews

Addictive but gets a bit frustrating at the laterlevels4
Yes it's only jewel matching. Yes the "Rome building" aspect of this doesn't add anything to he experience. Yes you've played it for free on the internet...
but with 100 different puzzles it is still good value and very, very addictive in a "just one more round" sort of way.

One major complaint though, which has been picked up on various other review sites, is that the stylus control is sometimes a bit iffy which is incredibly frustrating towards the later levels when time is of the essence and you find "jewels" flying all around the screen in unintended directions (ooh err missus!)

I loved this game and couldn't put it down until i completed all 100 levels starts off dead easy but gets a bit harder towards the end. Have started from the beginning again....totally addictive!

Excellent and addictive5
This is a very addictive game. Once you start to play, before you know it, hours have passed. Like a good novel - cannot put it down. Good for kids aged 8+ to adults I would say.
