Customer Reviews

Roxio 20103
This version of Roxio seems to be OK running with Windows7 but it will not load on my Computer running windows Vista Home Premium

Slow and cumbersome software2
This product is NOT easy to use. Inadequate user instructions and poor user help. I consider it to be a total waste of money.

NVIDIA CUDA ready4
Roxio creator 10 Pro, is a mega package, with everything sound and video and burning.
I have not given it an exastive test, as the package will be quite old when I come to that. But here are some highlights:

NVIDIA CUDA is the GPU (Graphic Prosessing Unit) doing the rendering work; if The GPU supports it. Mine did! Geforce 8400 on a Pavillion laptop. Amazing! The machine are not affected by the rendering of the video files!
You can do anything you want, like a machine doing nothing at all, while it renders video! The function can be shifted to CPU, but why? There is a speed test for both possibilities, but even if CPU runs a wee bit faster, the GPU rendering is awesome.

It has an auto film option that is breathtaking. I thought I was watching something made on national TV!;-) Now I know how they make it!;-))) With no effort at all!;-)))
I had to get used to the function. You choose title, music, and which footage to use.(Or it will choose for You) But I thought it rendered the footage. But it makes a template ready to use in the video editing program, where You finish it. That makes sense, becourse You can choose the output format.

Plusses:
Awesome autofilm. It can make music that fits Your needs for underlying music. Beautifull video interface, easy to use with choices. While You edit the video it opens a corresponding music interface, where You can choose rock or classic or You name it. You choose the mood of the music, and You can see that Your footage will last maybe 4 minutes. Then You choose the about same for the music and it inserts a sound track which will match the length of the footage.Outputs in "everything and .mp4.";-) Can use AVCHD files from SD_HC memory stick High Definition cameras, right away.

Minuses:
It has a lot of output templates, but I cannot see an option to customize any of them.It cannot output as AVCHD, like NERO 9 Vision can.
Allthough, if You make a .mp4 that is AVCHD compliant, then "TsMuxer" might make an AVCHD out of it.
If TsMuxer can't, then use "MultiAvchd" instead. Burn a Blu-Ray player compliant AVCHD and play it on Your TV.

This is a hypermodern video program where everything looks like an entertaining center for kids, always with something to entertain You with, but with the power of a jumbo jet. Not one of those(Final Cut or Sony) That looks like cockpits of a Jumbo Jet in the interface, and are "a bag of hurt" for childish users like myself!

Good program on the forefront of technology, which includes the user interface-user friendly and comprehensive.
