these are brilliant
I brought the black ones from the scp website last year and so far they are brilliant they are so fast to heat up and everyone comments on my hair, I love my hair really poker streight and before i brought these i used ghd which were like £89.00 i ended up buying 2 pairs of ghds because they always broke after about a year if yours have done this the only way to fix them is to get somone that knows what they are doing to look at the wires inside because the light goes off and it loses heat the only way to retain heat is to keep the plates squeezed together for about 10 seconds and streighten a peice of hair quick and do the same again.your garantee will have run out by the time this happens. Anyways i was worried i wouldnt find some streighteners that would tame my curly hair because as i said i like it really streight when i came across scps i read all the reveiws and decided to buy and belive me they are the best they are hot and have a tempature control which ghd dont have. They are far more afordable at around £39.00 they do great gift packs at scp too. they are really good i am a hairdresser also and have taken a pair to work to use on my clients and they all say how streight there hair is.
If your a bit of a hair wizz you can also master the technique of making curls with them by winding them round the hair they will create loose curls thought not really tight ones. I dont work for scp i am a customer and i honestley belive this is a good product and if your like my and had your loyal streightens break down and you dont want to break the bank defentley buy these you wont be disaponited. check out the scp website though for diffrent sized depending on hair type. Really thick hair works best with wider plates but if your not sure just get the normal size and take smaller sections .They also do pink which im about to buy because they look really good. please check out there website for better deals though as these are not the cheapest.

BEWARE THE PLATES MELT!!
Myself and a friend recently purchased the pink mk 5 SCP Hair Straightners, we were very impressed at first. But then my friend had been using hers and had them on for 20 minutes turned them off walked out the room and lucky for her she walked back into the room to a burning smell and she noticed that the plates had melted and smoke was coming from them, we just want people to be aware, to look at them now is shocking and I wouldnt advise anyone to purchase them, they could have caused a fire!! It has put me off using mine after seeing them it really made me think!!
