A wide selection of well known English folk tunes, considerably enhanced by the CD to familiarise yourself with the tune.
Probably the best starting point for English fiddle
A collection of 99 tunes, nicely laid out and arranged. A mix of well known session tunes and many that are less familiar.
There's an unaccompanied recording of each tune on the CD, played in Pete's clean and vigorous style.
Not a tutor as such, but there's a well researched historical overview of English fiddle and some hints on playing style.
As a Scottish exile in England, I'm finding this book useful as a starting point for learning English tunes for my local sessions.
Fills a gap in the market, and does it rather well.
