A book every user should have

Versatile good all round book5
I have to admit this book surprised me, I thought when I first picked it up the book was aimed mainly at a non technical audience. However I was surprised and pleased to see that there is information there not just for the newbie but also for the experienced IT person. The book is nicely written, easy to read and uses a language that people at all technical levels will be able to get something out of it.
The topics this book covers will assist both the home user and the IT support technician. I would have no problem recommending it to my 60 year old Father who has just purchased Vista for his PC at home or to the desktop support team within the company I work for.

The right level5
I work in IT and this book was recommended by associates. Having read various books they tend to fall into two catagories; the author confusing you in the rush to show off how much they know or so basic they tell you which button to press but not why.
This book is truly for prof by prof. Clear without boredom, explainations without ego. Thank you. Vista is less painful with this book on my desk.
