Matching Home Cinema System
Firstly let me start by saying this doesn't include a Blu-Ray player it merely matches the Sony BDPS350, which is does do well. I have a Sony TV, Sony HDD and Blu-Ray. They all are combatible with eachother and with the HDMI connection you can have a certain amount of control, though this does seem to be only the ability to turn the TV on automatically when pressing play on any of these connected systems. The speaker connections are disappointing, I would have preferred the ability to use better speaker cable (cable is standard cheapish cable), but this would require me to add the specific connector used in the back of the system, though you can connect the naked cable to the back of the speakers!! The speakers themselves are stylish and well constructed. The sound is great, but not spectacular though I would hasten to add this may improve with better cable. Because of it's slim nature I am also able to place the Blu-Ray and Cinema System on the same shelf, saving a shelf for other things.
