>> Sony Deliver Once Again >>
What can I say...but superb & not to say free as well from Amazon with my purchase of the 32gig X Series.
I recorded 2 hours of video on the highest setting, it took about 12mins to create a library ready for recording, & then another 12mins to finalise the recording.
Picture quality is top notch running at 768kbps on the highest setting, colours are so life like & vibrant using Sony's new OLED screen. On the highest setting it will allow you to record up to 4 hours in one go. allowing up to 1.7GB per file, not bad.
So to some up if you don't mind waiting 10+ mins to start recording & to finish then go for it... or get it free from Amazon with the Sony X Series Walkman, offer ends 31/10/09.
Video Recording Cradle fails to deliver
I got mine free from Amazon with a Sony NWZ-X1060 Walkman. The operating instructions make it sound so quick and easy - "set your Walkman in the cradle and press the REC button.." It is nowhere near that quick. I connected everything and the first time I set my Walkman in the cradle it took 25 minutes to prepare itself for recording. Twenty five minutes of jumping up from my chair to see if the little red light was still flashing. I recorded 2 whole minutes of video in the high quality mode and pressed stop. It then took another 15 minutes until I could actually look at the video. The picture looked ok on the Walkman screen but when I transferred it to my PC it was extremely bad. A tiny little rectangle on the screen that looked like it was made of Lego. The process wasn't any faster the second time I used it.
I imagined a world where I could quickly slip my Walkman in the cradle if something came on the TV to record. Then just pop it out of its cradle and take out with you to watch on the move. It took nearly 45 minutes to create 2 minutes of video. I wonder how long a whole movie might take?
There are better products than this out there that create higher quality larger videos quickly and from any source.
Great, so easy to use!
This is a great product, it's so simple to use. If you look at professional reviews they state the same.
