Very good case but not perfect.....
I bought the case with the NWZ-S639F recently and it arrived very quickly from KMS Direct.

The case is made of high quality plastic and is nice and solid, unlike other cases I have bought that were weak and bend and crack easily. It clips firmly on the walkman and the walkman doesn't move around in the case, once the case in on it is hard to get off which is good as long as you dont want to take it off (use a knife). The plastic is pure and clear so it doesn't effect the visibilty of the screen. It offers a high level or protection for the walkman.

The plastic is quite thick and this does make it abit ackward to get to the buttons, the buttons on the front arn't to bad but the volume and hold buttons are hard to use with the case on (use your nails).
Regarding the other review that the "WM-port" is not usable with the case on, I haven't had this problem. It plugs in fine but only just (I can see what the other review was saying), once it is plugged it I have to make sure I dont move it because the plug is only just in far enough, but if it is a problem it only takes 2 minutes to file the hole slightly larger. The headphones plug in fine.

Summary

The case offers a very high level of protection and although some of the buttons are hard to use with it on its still more usable and practical than a leather flip case in my opinion. The skin/gel type cases dont offer anywere near this level of protection. Everything comes at a cost in this case you are sacrificing a small amount of 'ease of use' for a high level of protection.

Excellent casing, very snug fit, snaps into place easily, and presents your just-a-tad-too-thin and delicate-feeling device as more substantial and manageable. I found the buttons within the 'Mickey Mouse ears' on the front easy enough to get at, whilst the now-recessed Volume and Hold buttons on the side are, because they ARE recessed, quite okay to leave alone, nor will they be pressed accidentally, so you'll only use them sparingly.

However, the sleek and shiny casing is, as Another Reviewer pointed out, then difficult to open again. So, do not do as I did and get your player snapped into place quickly Just To See How Cool It Looks ... for you'll then be mocked by the suddenly-evident and very irritating dust and other attracted-by-static particles showing-up mockingly, nya nya nya, under the clear plastic/acrylic and spoiling your sleek-black player because you were too hasty getting it in there! Gritting teeth trying to pry it open with a Swiss Army knife, you may find yourself wondering whether to just break the thing and get another (as it does not cost much!), and that would be a real shame ...

just what i needed. Walkman is not getting scratched.
power lead needs a little encouragement to insert, but if the case is slightly prized open no problem.
in view of what a new Walkman costs, this is worth buying.
