This book showcases the fashion sketches of sixty contemporary fashion designers, selected for their extraordinary talent in the art of illustration. The drawings of world-famous designers such as Christian Lacroix, Sonia Rykiel and Yves Saint Laurent appear, as well as the work of up-and-coming visionaries including Roksanda Ilincic, Jens Laugesen and Tuleh. Their fashion drawings display a wide range of creative techniques and approaches: from refined and elegant sketchwork, through colourful and cartoon-like imagery, to amazingly accomplished draftsmanship. All the artworks featured are guaranteed to amaze, enlighten and inspire anyone interested in fashion or illustration.

Customer Reviews

amazing5
I was recentley given this book as a present and it is fantastic. The illustrations are beautiful and all the more special as they were drawn by real fashion designers and many of them have never been seen before. It really feels as though you have been allowed a brief glimpse at something very personal, special and the illustrations are truly amazing. Highly recommended.

Wicked!!5
As a fashion student this was such a great book to have. It really helped with my course!

Beautiful book5
Really beautiful fashion illustrations both to look at and to gain inspiration if developing personal style.
Not technical drawings. It's not going to show you how to draw the anatomy of the figure perfectly or give you design ideas, but inspire drawing technique/use of line.
