To Buy Or Not To Buy?
This is definately coffee table fodder, complete eye candy. I suppose it is one of those you either love or hate books. If you like me, go into card shops to browse the different designs in there then buy it, cos its just pics, pics and more pics no chat just pics, not a 1000 as claimed as some are repeated and a lot tend to be Christmas card designs and baby annoucements. It could have done with more birthday designs since that is the largest category out there but I wont slag it off it is a good source for inspiration. If you are greeting card inclined or card inclined period then put it on the shelf

With the rising interest in card-making this collection comes as a welcome relief, showing that cards are not simply crafted but can also be very well designed. Anyone interested in card making or making their correspondence stand out, will be inspired by seeing what the professionals can come up with, but I would also recommend this collection to designer's also: whether you are an art student or a professional graphic designer briefed to come up with 'something new' - which in todays world is no small feat. This book brings together a wonderful and timeless collection of ideas that cannot be found elsewhere; a stand alone catalogue of ideas that can inspire other forms of greeting and announcement not covered here.
