Product Description

Energy Works! shows how we can do our own inner work, without a therapist; how we can connect to spiritual healing energy directly, without an intermediary. It brings insight and experience from traditional medicine and psychiatry to the practice of working with spiritual healing energy particularly SKHM), and explores the psychological implications of seeking to achieve spiritual initiation. An initiation is a powerful, immediate connection to the energy of Source; a moment of wakening when, suddenly, the illusion of separation from the Universe is finally shattered. It could happen to you while reading this book.

Editorial Reviews

Review
Graham and Teresa have explored the world of SKHM to a depth that few have been able to achieve, and, most importantly, they have been able to share their experience with others through their words in the most beautiful way. Those who read about their experience will be initiated in a journey of the heart. I highly recommend allowing yourself to experience that journey. Patrick Zeigler, founder of SKHM

'Energy Works!' works!5
I am a friend of the authors. This review is not written because of that friendship, but despite it.

I'm buying ten copies of `Energy Works': 3 for friends who, like me, have read Scott Peck's `The Road Less Travelled' and loved it; 3 for those who read that book and hated it; and 4 for people who haven't read it, and in 2 cases haven't heard of it! For the first group, it is an invaluable companion-piece, casting fresh light on areas both discuss; for the second, it may deal less gratingly with what are still very important issues; and for the third, it could open up entire new vistas in their lives. It's about dealing with yourself and your issues; it's about keeping sane in an increasingly madder world; it's about staying healthy in a world urging you always to get sick.

The sub-title gives the impression of an esoteric tome, a cult's manual, or something, a sect's rule-book. It isn't any of those things. You don't need to be in the least bit interested in SKHM or Reiki or even complementary medicine to derive great advantages from its reading. Eventually it could introduce you to yourself. In large measure it did so for me.

Not only do I applaud `Energy Works', I intend to champion it.

Invaluable Resource5
Energy works is a wonderful resource for those who are seeking personal and spiritual development.Drawing from a wide range of theories and psychotherapeutic processes it offers readers many valuable self help processes and offers down to earth explanations to demystify the world of psychotherapy. Definitely a book to "experience" and "be" with. Highly recommended and well worth several reads. I recommend to therapists, clients and students alike.

interesting and fulfilling read4
This book is written by two medical doctors who integrate scientific and medical knowledge with spiritual explorations. Being a psychiatrist and psychotherapist myself I can vouch that the psychotherapy sections are sound and well put forward. The language is clear making the information very accessible. I like the 'do it yourself' approach and the integrated ( using different theoretical models in an integrated way) guide to self healing. I am intrigued by the link between psychotherapy and spiritual awakening and this book has made me curious to explore that connection further. It certainly is a good read.
