The 3G-6200n is a multi-function wireless broadband router. When connecting either a 3G or 3.5G USB modem card* to 3G-6200n, all network (wired / wireless) users can share 3G/3.5G Internet connection. The 3G-6200n can support 3G/3.5G speeds up to 7.2Mbps and comes with a built-in Ethernet WAN port for Cable modem or xDSL modem. When connected to a xDSL /Cable broadband, 3G-6200n will enable the xDSL /Cable broadband connection automatically when 3G/3.5G Internet connection is not available. 3G-6200n USB port can also function as a print server. When you connect with a USB printer, the device can be a print server allowing user to share printer through the network.

Edimax EZView is a new enhanced management system in 3G-6200n which allows you to manage your router locally or remotely from the Internet. UPnP compatible devices are automatically detected and information about the device will be listed in the management interface of the router. You will be able to directly manage device information like IP address, bandwidth control, open ports and DMZ.

Edimax 3G-6200n is a high speed solution that complies with wireless IEEE 802.11b/g, and is compatible with IEEE 802.11n standard. When fine-tuned to operate using the wireless 802.11n technology, 3G-6200n wireless data transmission rate can reach up to 150Mbps - a coverage 3 times better than a standard 802.11g/b router.This router is a high performance Internet sharing router with 3G function, which enables multiple users to download files at same time.

A unique multi-language setup wizard is included in the installation CD. You can setup the router to the Internet within minutes by following the simple animated steps.

The WPS button lets you activate the wireless protection. One-Click WPS button helps you setup a secure wireless network in a snap. 3G-6200n features a control button on its back panel to enable the easy switching on and off of the Wi-Fi wireless connection. When you want to use only wired connection, you can simply pause the Wi-Fi option by pressing the button without making any extra setting.

Brilliant 3G router, Good value for money!
Bought this on Amazon for £42.99 to use it with my Orange ICON225 3G dongle. Never had any experience with 3G routers before, so I had my fingers crossed. Turned out is was easy to set up and the 3G dongle worked after a little alteration to the APN setting (from APN: internet to APN: internetvpn). Suddenly, everything seemed to have worked perfectly. Now I have always-on internet with WiFi signals to my Xbox 360, two PC, three laptops and wireless LAN Hp printer. Also bought the PCI EW-7728ln WLAN Card for my PC....all working in harmony within minutes. Security set up on the router is straight forward as well.

The 3G reception is excellent in my house, so I can get very decent bandwidth. Wifi signal is decent, even through thick granite walls. Internet seems to be working quicker via the router for some reason?? I have some knowledge about setting up routers in the past, but no expert, so I guess it was relatively easy to sort everything out. This is the cheapest 3G router with wifi draft n I can find. If you are pondering, just get it, you won't regret it. PS: I was going to try to use it with my other T-mobile E170 dongle, but decided to give it miss for now. Will update if I get around to sorting it.

Great 3g router
Hi all. i got this so i could get rid of a land line and go 3g mobile broadband. but i need wi-fi for all the house as i have a few computers and a PS3. Well this was easy to set up. plug in your 3g dongle in usb port at back. just connect this to one pc to start with wire provided and set up your network name and password. via disc which comes with it. Then with all other pc's laptop or games console just find your network name and put in your password and its done. It even works with online gaming but depends on upload speed of your 3g dongle which you plug in the back. and now no more landline to get broadband wi-fi in the house. very happy.

works well for me
I need to use mobile broadband and only have good reception in a place where I can't sit, upstairs at back of house and no phone line, so decided to try this. Its one of the few that seem to be really designed for mobile broadband as a primary use. Its good value, easy to set up and so far I have no complaints, it does its job. It even comes with a usb extension cable for a bit of extra flexibility in getting a better signal, the 3g modems that plug directly into a usb port can be moved around, or left hanging out a window! I get a 0.5 mb better signal doing this, plastic bag on the modem helps with the rain. I upgraded the firmware to the latest level and the management interface is much improved. Happy with it. Like all 3g routers check that your 3g modem is supported before you buy it.
