Fantastic reference book!
Having struggled with the dictionary I used at school for O levels (1967!!)for the past 40 years, I finally bit the bullet and bought this on recommendation (from a friend who speaks, teaches and lives in France). It has proved a godsend when writing to the utility companies in France, having bought my own house over there. Highly recommend. But mind you don't drop it on your foot!!

Excellent dictionary
I have recently started to study French but wanted to invest in a dictionary which I could use for years to come. This has proved to be an excellent choice. It is easy to use, includes many example sentences as well as pronunciation and the extra features on grammar etc are both well laid out and comprehensive. The bonus of being able to use the online version will prove useful to those studying online or using their computer to do homework assignments etc. Highly recommended!

100% excellent "mega dico". Every reference looked up leads you on to more and more. Well set out and easy to read: colour printing helps enormously. Lots of day to day idiomatic phrases and references. I can see why it is recommended by the Open University. Excellent mid section that is of practical use for students of all ages and abilities. Thoroughly recommended.
