This is an excellent starter book for those going to Italy on holiday. It covers most situations you are likely to meet in an easy to study manner with lots of opportunity for revision.

I got this with the idea that I could listen to the CD and learn some Italian on my way to/from work every day.

What I didn't realise was that the book is the key learning item with the CD helping - and you MUST listen to the CD whilst following the book! - very dissapointed with this... HOWEVER the book is very good and I would recommend it!
