A great resource for an American MGB owner
I'm a 25 year old American guy who had never heard of Mark Evans, and American Discovery channel doesn't carry this series. I've been restoring a 1971 MGB roadster and wish I'd known about this series when I began. It's funny, informational, and overall a great resource for the MG owner. My only compliant is the time spend on other vehicles that are NOT being restored (such as the 5 minutes spent on a late-model MG-TF and a gorgeous Tigress...beautiful cars, but have nothing to do with restoring my "B").

I was most impressed by the choice of project vehicle. With no knowledge of Mr. Evans' style, I expected a beautiful project vehicle and a state-of-the-art garage. In fact, his shoddy project vehicle makes me feel better about my "B" and his affinity for hand tools was refreshing.

All in all it deserves every one of the five stars!!!

bought this as a sort of visual guide to one or two problems I was having and it proved to be of great help

Mg is born review
Very entertaining. I have an MGB and while not everyone who saw it on TV will want everything in minute detail most of the people buying the DVD are MGB owners. It's a shame we are not treated to a DVD of extras showing how to do some of these jobs in more detail. The cameras must have been running and the footage ended up on the Cutting Room floor...
That said good fun DVD
