Customer Reviews
Good advice
A marvellous guide to overcoming the difficulties of a common disability that is increasingly becoming more widely understood. Such luminaries as Albert Einstein and Thomas Edison were sufferers- as well as Duncan Goodhew and Henry Winkler in the present day. Still, now that dyslexia is formally recognised as a medical condition, I find the title rather offensive. I believe that the politically correct term for the target audience is 'dyslexics'.
Parental Review
I chose to read a collection of books on dyslexia, to try to have an understanding of what this means to my dyslexic children. This book is great - it is fun and easy to read and understand, offering practical advice and tips. I would also have to say that it is written in the USA, so some of the advice on schools etc is not totally relevant to any English person reading it.
