Product Description

From the presenters of Living TV's "Most Haunted", GHOST HUNTERS is an explosive guide that opens the world of ghosts to new initiates and serious fans. It contains "exclusive" case files from Yvette Fielding and Ciaran O'Keefe's own investigations, carried out expressly for the book. It also discusses the history of hauntings, and the pros and cons of various investigative techniques - as well as spooky phenomena like orbs and poltergeists, and how to tell if you've really seen a ghost. In Part One Yvette and Ciaran re-open the case files of some of the world's most famous hauntings, including the Enfield poltergeist and the original Exorcist, and come to new conclusions based on today's expertise. In Part Two, Yvette and Ciaran have chosen five new cases never examined before and carried out their own investigations, in locations including a Cheshire family home, a deserted shipyard and an abandoned church - now used as a nightclub. Thoroughly researched and full of exciting new material, this is THE ghost book for the serious fan.

Customer Reviews

The best of the bunch5
This is probably the most anticipated book of the year for anyone interested in the paranormal and it doesn't disappoint. When I heard that Yvette Fielding was writing a book about ghost hunting I couldn't wait (she is of course the most famous ghost hunter in the world), at last a book that has credibility, interest and excitment in equal measures.

Many books in this genre, especially books by some psychic's, seem to filled with 'look at me' egos telling the reader how great they are and 'how many lives they've touched' usually a lot of rot, they bitterly disappoint. It's about time a book was out there filled with interest and Ghost Hunters is it.

As soon as I bought Ghost Hunters I read it in one go as I truly couldn't put it down and as soon as I read it I started again. I know several people who have bought this book and all of them have recommended it to others. Each chapter will scare you in ways you could never imagine, I defy anyone to read it it without getting goose bumps. It's scary because it's true!

Ghost Hunters, co-written by Ciaren O'Keeffe, is the best book in this genre and a milestone in publishing, it has no rival, it is clear, presice and eloquent I can't wait for the next one. Roumer has it that this best seller will be sequalled soon as both Yvette and Ciaren have been signed by the publishers for a number of books...well done, can't wait.

Truly Dreadful1
I love Most Haunted but feel it has lost its earthy feel of late. This book however was truly dreadful. I found it patronising, dull and poorly written.

Good book. Disappointing pictures.4
I really enjoyed this book. It was very interesting. However the pictures in it aren't very good quality and most of the time it's pretty much impossible to see what it is they are trying to show you!
