Customer Reviews

Really disappointing1
I've been a Tange fan for a long time. After reading the review above this I bought the dvd. I was totally disappointed. The audio quality is awful. The review above says the opposite. I don't think the person has listened to it on anything other than tv speakers. The audio has been recorded on a mic in the audience, not even through the P.A., meaning no bass, and lots of close by audience noises. The filming has been done on two camcorders, filming the same views over and over and over again. I'm amazed Tange actually put their name to this. Looks to me like they've had no part in it's production, as they would surely have asked for better quality than this. It's no better than a dodgy bootleg. Very dodgy. Save your money for something better.

This wonderful film records TD in towering form.

Kicking off with Classic '70's spacerock Rubycon, it is a breathless ride through three and a half decades of music, before a packed Shepherds Bush Empire audience.

The lighting & film quality of this are excellent,& while there are rumours that the audio on this are from a fan tape, you'd never know.
It's clear, & well matched to the visuals.

This is ALMOST as good as the Berlin Tempodrom DVD, but not quite. (I'm not in this one!)

Buy it & enjoy.... It's way better than the Astoria 2007
