Some content is exclusive to DVD. The possibilities are endless...and so are the laughs!

Synopsis
FAMILY GUY and AMERICAN DAD creator Seth MacFarlane puts pup culture into a parody blender with this raunchy, twisted internet series that's too outrageous for network television.

Customer Reviews

a bit of a miss2
Just feels like a collection of material not good enough to get into the family guy script.
Amusing in places, but for the most not worthy of the dvd price.

Mediocre at best2
Well I have previously watched a lot of seth's creations like family guy etc.

Upon discovering the existence of this on youtube and watching a couple of the sketches i thought they were funny so thought i would buy this because i am usually a fan.

On later inspection i realized that when i watched it the only ones i found funny were the ones on youtube. It starts funny then about 10 mins in the laughs turn in to slight giggles to yourself but nothing more.

the real laughs become few and far between.

It's only saving grace is the dog in a microwave scene.

I suggest just watching them on youtube instead of buying this.

Not funny1
You know those cartoon books you find in discount book stores? The big, thick books full of humourless line-sketches with a single caption or speech bubble that's not particularly funny? If you know what I'm talking about, this is the moving equivalent. If you don't, just take my word for it. Or not - like the other reviewer pointed out, you can watch all of these gloriously dire skits online, for free. The experience might even be a little more funny than the watching the DVD, since that way you at least get the novelty of waiting for the page to load.

The DVD is simply one unfunny sketch after another, preceded by stark white-on-black titles which typically make the punchlines so unbelievably predictable, you end up staring at the screen in horror, waiting for the big 'gotcha' moment when Seth, or Peter Griffin, or whoever, shows up and explains that it was all *supposed* to be bad. Sadly that moment never comes.

I got this in the States and was truly appalled. On two occasions it made me chuckle, but besides those moments there are funnier fatal diseases than the entirety of material on offer here - I nearly fell asleep at one point.

For the record, I'm not some easily-offended buttoned-up type who just doesn't 'get' Seth - I loved the first few seasons of Family Guy (seems to be flagging a bit now though), and American Dad, and am a huge fan of South Park. This does not live up to any of those, even at their worst. The DVD ought really to be sold as "Seth MacFarlanes assortment of gags not funny enough for inclusion in Family Guy", because that's really what it looks like to me. Check out the reviews on the US Amazon store if you want further proof, but I guarantee that if you buy this, you'll regret wasting your money.
