Customer Reviews
Seriously brilliant
Yes, yes, yes! At last an album of chillout that really works! Not some crappy compilation but all my favourite tunes in seamless medleys one after another. The sound is just perfect - beats - orchestras and no vocals to get in the way! When Midnight Cowboy came on I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. This hasn't been off my player since I bought it on Tuesday. It's brilliant - perfect for lazing around to.
Whatever Anne Dudley has done here it really brings a new spin on chill - clever clogs!
The best chill out album ever!
I got Seriously Chilled in my Xmas stocking and I haven't stopped listening to it yet! I 'slip into something more comfortable', turn up the volume and enjoy it with a glass of wine. Anne Dudley's arrangements are fab, I love the way that she juxtaposes the depth and breadth of an orchestra beatifully with the modern beats of contemporary dance. I think Anne Dudley and the BBC Concert Orchestra are superb on this CD and this definitely blows all the other chill out CDs out of the water!
Mind-blowing combination of chill out classics played by a Symphony Orchestra
ABSOLUTELY YES - if you appreciate timeless chill-out classics such as Les Nuit by Nightmares on Wax, and then contemplate these tracks being mixed together and played by the BBC Concert Orchestra - it's a quite incredible concept, and even more incredible when you hear the output! My sincere thanks and appreciation to Anne Dudley on a serious piece of musical genious :))
