Editorial Reviews

Album Description
The epic, romantic score was composed by Anne Dudley (The Full Monty, The 10th Kingdom).

This longtime dream project of producers Tony Scott (Spy Game, Enemy of the State, Top Gun) and Ridley Scott (Black Hawk Down, Gladiator, Blade Runner) explores the medieval legend of a princess and warrior's love affair, which threatens to tear apart an uneasy peace between England and Ireland. A tale of epic battles, royal intrigue and a timeless, star-crossed passion.

Pure beauty in melody.5
What is there to say about this cd?
Well if it weren't for the music on the cd the film would be no where near as poignant and romantic.
The music flows really well and is a nice contrast between masculine and feminine.
The Isolde style music is my favourite, with my favourite song being track 10. "Love so alike". It is such a simple piece of music but it is steeped in emotion that no words could ever express.
Not only that but it is also slightly lamentful and conveys fragility of love and life I think.
This is well worth your money and I am so glad I bought it.
It's a brilliant cd to fall asleep to.
Anne Dudley did a brilliant job on this cd.

Not as good as it should be!3
The soundtrack would be good if it actually included ALL of the soundtrack! 'Ambush in the Forest' on the CD is dull and boring whereas during the film it was stirring and was one of the reasons I wanted the soundtrack in the first place. 'The Tournament' scene during the film contained music from the soundtrack of 'Gangs of New York' and is not the same as that on the CD. I was very disappointed and tried to get in touch with the record label with no luck. I loved the main theme but I wanted ALL the soundtrack not just bits.
