Amazon.co.uk Review
Kylie's back with Fever--Live in Manchester and both the budget and the bangles are bigger than 2001's Live in Sydney. This is very much a new-wave pop concert, combining the best in visual imaging, storytelling and costume design. We are offered a range of stunning Kylie-personas, from Metropolis Queen (an ingenious mechanical silver costume) for the opening "Come into My World", to Clockwork Orange-style aggression for "Spinning Around" and a hip hop-infused policewoman for "Confide in Me". Most impressive are "GBI", a stunning piece of avant-garde Japanese pop, and the electro-clash section for "Light Years". (Unfortunately there's little she can do with "Lucky", since the original is imprinted on our brains forever!)

Take note, all pop star wannabes: part of Kylie's success can be attributed to her refusal to mime, and her concerts are all the better for it. The other part can be seen in the canny way she has surrounded herself with the best in the business, from her stylist to her choreographer to her stage director. If that's not enough, her stage persona is a knockout too. She easily commands the audience's attention and, despite her diminutive size, dominates the hugely elaborate set that combines stairs and movable video projections. This is as much a piece of performance art as it is a big-budget pop concert. It appears that audiences are now ready for the grown-up Kylie she wanted to give the world nearly 10 years ago.

On the DVD: Kylie: Fever's special feature on the stage projections is a little dull out of context but hypnotic nonetheless: it's ideal for playing on a loop at a party! The digital programme presents the story behind each look and chapter of the concert and the documentary doesn't just focus on the lady herself, but diverts to look at the logistics and problems in creating such a visually stunning show. As you would expect from such a mixed-media production, the sound and visuals are pristine. --Nikki Disney

A Must for Kylie Fans5
I was at the London stage of this tour and purchased this DVD (region 1) hoping that it would be pretty much the same as the one I went to see. I was not dissapointed, in a word Fantastic. Kylie even popped up the same through the stage at the end to sing Blue Monday. The dancer used in 'Confide' did not seem as energetic as he did when I watched him at London but that could be just my imagination (still wished I could move like that). The DVD is full of extra's and as I said in the title, A Must Have for any Kylie fan. If you have not seen this tour live then it is more than just a concert, it is a spectacle, a show of singing, dancers and acrobats. The special edition comes with a live audio CD and nicer packaging, well worth the small amount extra. If I could give this a 6 then I would do, compared to Kylies 'Live in Sydney' DVD this beats it hands down.

Get the fever---it's HOT!!!!!!5
Anyone who was lucky enough to see Kylies Fever tour 2002, will need no introduction to this concert, it did however sell out within hours so many people were dissapointed, so this review is for you!!! Fever 2002 became the most sucesfull tour by a female artist. The DVD looks amazing with fantastic costumes,
brilliant stage sets and at the centre is Kylie, having the time of her life putting on a show stopping performance. Most of the hits are there, from early SAW right through the to the present day, there are also a few surpises--Cowboy Style, Limbo, and a fantastic ballad medley that will have every Kylie critic eating there words--"She can't sing"....let me tell you readers she can!!
As well as the complete concert there are some great special features-A bonus live disc containing 72 minutes of music, a feel the Fever documentary, digital tour book, stage projections.
It all comes packaged in a foil slip case which looks amazing.
A must buy!!!!

Feel The Fever!5
I was a huge pop fan and after the Steps, S Club 7 and Spice Girls tours I couldnt see how they could be beaten. Kylie obviously did. Hands down, the best music concert I have ever seen.
Only 2 album tracks off Fever and it is still amazing. If you love the album (which you should), you may be expecting more album tracks, but dont let it get you down. The concert rocks.

Kylie enters in a skimpy sexy silver number with the rocking Come Into My World. She moves into Shocked amazingly and brings the house down. The fan fav Love At First Sight is next with Fever rounding off the Set. The whole theme is space and technology and is excellent. The dancing is excellent and basically it is great.
She moves into Spinning Around with the whole Clockwork Orange theme. The musical arrangement is different but great.
The next bit and one of the highlights is the Crying Game. The songs "The Crying Game" "Put Yourself In My Place" " Finer Feelings" and "Dangerous Game" are merged into a 9 minute medley. When i heard it i was so shocked at Kylie's vocals. I knew she could sing but not like this. Beautiful.
The next track is her rare collaboration GBI. Although she doesnt appear on stage it is great to hear such a weird song. She then returns with a street version of Confide In Me. The acrobat is amazing and the extended rockier version well, rocks! She moves into the IP album track Cowboy Style. Nice little dance routine, tonnes of dancers....hang on, the arrangement is 10 times better. And i love the original! Much harder and fiercer but danceable. I love it. She moves into Kids and does the business and finishes off the set.
The Sex In Venice set comes next with a naughty routine to go with On A Night Like This. She then does a classic, The Loco Motion Rnb Stylee. It is great and so sexy. She finishes off with In Your Eyes/Please Stay latin medley which is also great.
The next set is Cybertronica. Neon lights etc mixed with I Should Be So Lucky, Light Years/I Feel love and my fav performance of the night, LIMBO! It is amazing.
She returns with a mellower track, Burning Up and finishes with Better The Devil You Know. Or does she?
She returns to the stage for CGYOOMH. She is on her own all through the track and to be honest i felt it could have ended in a much bigger fashion. The first 26 tracks rocked so we can let her off as CGYOOMH is a great track.
OK. Bye it. Enjoy. You'll love it
