    it is a work horse4
I was looking for a vacuum which matched my old Mondo in suction(the newer version is not half as good!) and after talking to every friend I know and searching for days on the net looking at specs and reviews etc. I finally settled on this one as it seemed to be the all rounder for my needs i.e. not expensive,(65.99) powerful and well recommended. I am so glad I did. It is great. It keeps its suction power, does not tip over like so many of the three wheelers do and is so inexpensive at the moment. I only gave it 4 stars (although I would like to have given it 41/2), because, as the others have commented - it really needs an automatic cord rewind. I have not had to rewind cord for so long I had forgotten just how tedious untangling it every time can be - so if anyone at Morphy Richards ever reads these, please note- it is the only fault in an otherwise super machine

    Excellent value for money!5
I completely agree with S. Whittle. After having got increasingly frustrated at expensive domestic hoovers, my husband splashed out £150 on a commercial model. Needing a second and knowing I had a better eye for a bargain I found this model. It's a very good mid-ground between a commercial hoover (heavy weight, large capacity, large motor) and a domestic (telescopic attachments, adjustable power, on-board tools). As the previous reviewer says, the only thing it lacks is a power lead winder! The suction is fantastic and it's an absolute joy, rather than a battle, to hoover the flat. If you need a work-horse, for heavans sake buy whilst it's at this great price!

    Disappointing in some respects4
The cleaner is quiet even when used at full power. It seems to have been built to withstand rough use. It is easy to accidentally press the power button, located on the right side, instead of the foot operated on and off switch, which is on the left. Most people are right footed and therefore I believe it almost instinctive to push down with the right foot to turn the cleaner on/off. I am not surprised that no photos of the cleaner - not even those on the box - are shown with the tools in the so called 'tool holder'. Poor show, in my opinion: the raised icons are misplaced and there are not enough holes for all the tools to be placed in when storing the cleaner. Other than that, I'm pleased: less than £30 from Netto!
