Disappointing Brabantia
This cover was purchased to replace the standard cover that came with a Brabantia ironing board as the old cover was rather worse for wear. Although the new cover appears well made, is easy to fit and feels hard-wearing, it seems to be incompatible with my steam generation iron. Since using this long-life cover wet spots appear frequently on the ironing which was never a problem with the old cover. Neither the packaging nor the Brabantia website mention any compatibility problems with any of their ironing board covers and steam generation irons.
