The Wahl Steam Generator has a self contained system which creates a powerful continuous blast of steam - up to 90g a minute - that enables you to breeze through a pile of ironing in less time than you'd ever have imagined possible. With a bar pressure of 1.5 and a maximum temperature of 225 degrees the 2300W steam generator reaches operating temperature in just 2½ minutes and has a 1000ml water reservoir that removes for easy filling at the tap. The lightweight iron has a silky smooth stainless steel sole plate which glides easily over any ironable material, an anti-scale filter and also works vertically for non-contact steaming of curtains and clothes on the hanger.

Very disappointed
Had mine for 6 months and it hasnt really performed well since i got it, unfortunately cant find receipt so am unable to return. The on off switch stopped working, so in fact when you push the button in to turn it off it actually turns off, put the button in the off position and it is actually on. the stream comes out the bottom of the unit instead of through the iron, and it when the steam does choose to come out it chucks out dirty steam which is very annoying especially when you ironing white clothes ARGHHHHHHHHH. Would not recommend

Save your money and buy something else!
Like many other people that have reviewed this iron, I can agreed it is total rubbish!

At first I was pleased with the iron as it made easy work of the ironing and worked fine, however 3 months down the line it has started to get continuous air locks and ends up pumping our more water than steam which is really annoying!!

I have also been unable to source the special filters from anywhere which also adds to the frustration.

My recommendation would be save your money and spend a little more on a decent steam generating iron as this model is clearly a cheap attempt to enter into this market! I will be returning mine to buy a better model!

I'm in the forces so a good iron is key and this is the best i have come across. The high power steam get's my shirts looking really smart. Top Buy.
