I'd heard of Brian Freidman but had never had the opportunity to do class with him so wasn't sure what to expect. He ROCKS. His style is raw, contemporary, very challenging, technical and risky and the DVD is great. It's starts with an audition, taking you through what professional choreographers expect and how a proper audition goes. Then for the highlight you get to learn FOUR very distinct routines. Finally you see not only the dancers perform but also the choreographer himself. Don't be put off by the cover of this which does it no justice at all. It's a superb buy - but be warned, tricky stuff!

Movin' n Groovin'5
Wow, this dvd is great! Brian Friedman gives you a warm welcome then shows you what ppl are looking for at dance auditions, this is very helpful if you are or wish to be a professional dancer. If you just want to do it for fun, the next thing it shows you are the dance moves. There's 3 or 4 routines and all the moves are clearly explained. You Will have to keep repeating the same bit tho as some of it is quite difficult to keep up with! Right at the end you see a performance by Brian and the guys n gals from the audition. Overall this dvd is really good, I recommed it. Brian is passionate about what he does, a great choreographer and not to mention, pretty damn hott too!

OK so this is a good DVD for the money, lots to learn from it and it will keep you busy for quite a while. Quite difficult for non experienced dancers but if you like a challange then its for you. Yes I thought it was a good dvd with upto date dance moves.
